Eagle Rim Trail Day on Mt. Burdell February 9th

Join in a volunteer work day to make trail improvements to the Eagle Rim Trail. The trail is located along the Mt. Burdell ridgeline above the Pierre Joske Grove with fantastic views of Novato and the surrounding Bay Area. The volunteer workday and the trail improvements will lead to the official adoption and hiking/cycling designation of the trail. Trail work is very strenuous and involves bending, kneeling, and hiking on steep and uneven terrain. It is recommended for older teens and adults with a moderate to high level of fitness.

8:30am – Sign-in Registration, light breakfast snacks and ½ mile hike to trailhead
9am – Meet at Eagle Rim trailhead, morning greeting, announcements and safety talk.
12pm – Break for lunch at Joske Grove.
2:30pm – Finish work
3:00pm – Hike back to San Andreas gate.

Dress in layers you can get dirty, wear sturdy shoes, and bring water. Please bring gloves if you have them. Snacks, lunch and extra water will be provided.
